Please note that the maximum operating temperature of each KLINGER AB-cock depends on the respective operating pressure as well as on the materials of body or sealing. The pressure and temperature limits are shown in the P-/T-diagrams which can be found in the respective product catalogue.
The packing sleeve - the heart of a AB-Cock
Under pressure the lamellas of the elastic packing sleeve are pressed against the body wall and thereby an excellent seal is achieved. Three different sorts of packing sleeves are available:
- top-graph 2000: The standard packing sleeve for operating temperatures up to 250°C
- KAF: For high temperature applications up to 400°C
